Q.E.D. war eine US-amerikanische Serie und stammt nicht aus Großbritannien. Sie wurde von der US-Firma Consolidated Productions produziert. Ebenso hieß sie niemals im Original MASTERMIND. Die Verwechslung gab es nur, weil im Jahr 1982 in Großbritannien eine Dokumentarreihe auf der BBC startete, die ebenfalls Q.E.D. hieß. Also zur Datenbereinigung: Q.E.D. (US-Fantasyserie 1982, 6 Folgen) und Q.E.D. (GB-Dokureihe, 1982-1999). Ich hoffe Fernsehserien, wunschliste und imdb ändern mal die Angaben.

I believe Q.E.D. was the shortest lived crime drama CBS has ever imported from England since the mid-1980s. The series was a breakthrough success for the Eye Network... simply because of the action, adventure, suspense, high- tech high jinks - and, most of all - the dashing science professor Quentin E. Deverill (Q.E.D. for short), played by a post-I'll Fly Away/pre-Law & Order Sam Waterston.
